In July 2025, Omics Empower officially launched its new laboratory at Hong Kong Science Park, offering researchers in the region expanded access to single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics services. The facility is equipped with advanced platforms from 10x Genomics and MobiDrop, supporting a wide range of research needs with flexibility and precision.

Located in the heart of Asia’s biotech innovation hub, the launch of the Hong Kong lab marks a major milestone in Omics Empower’s expansion across Asia. By integrating cutting-edge single-cell technologies with an experienced scientific team, the lab provides researchers in Hong Kong and neighboring regions with streamlined access to high-quality, end-to-end single-cell and spatial transcriptomics solutions.

One of the lab’s key strengths is its ability to receive fresh tissue and cell samples locally for single-cell RNA sequencing. Researchers in Hong Kong can benefit from same-day sample drop-off, door-to-door collection, or even on-site sample processing, minimizing RNA degradation and maximizing cell viability — both of which are critical for high-quality single-cell data.

Omics Empower currently operates laboratories in the United States, Germany, and Hong Kong, and is actively expanding its global footprint to better support scientists with accessible, high-quality multi-omics services worldwide.

2025 年 7 月，Omics Empower 正式於香港科學園（Hong Kong Science Park）啟動了新的實驗室，為本地及鄰近地區的研究人員提供單細胞測序與空間轉錄組（spatial transcriptomics）服務。該設施配備先進的儀器平台，包括 10x Genomics 與 MobiDrop，能靈活、精準地應對各種科研需求。 

該香港實驗室的一大優勢在於：可於本地接受新鮮組織或細胞樣本進行單細胞 RNA 測序。香港的研究者可享有當天交付樣本服務、樣本上門收集或甚至現場處理樣本，以減少 RNA 的降解並最大限度保留細胞的存活率 —— 這些都是取得高質量單細胞資料的關鍵。 

Omics Empower 目前在美國、德國及香港均設有實驗室，並正積極拓展其在全球的多組學服務網絡，以便更好地支援科學家於樣本準備至數據產出的全流程。
