Targeted, imaging-based spatial profiling at single-cell and subcellular resolution.


Xenium is a next-generation in situ transcriptomics platform from 10x Genomics. Instead of sequencing the whole transcriptome, it uses multiplex imaging and decoding cycles to map RNA molecules directly in intact tissue sections.


When to Choose Xenium?

Unlike sequencing-based methods, Xenium does not require NGS. Instead, it uses multiplex rounds of fluorescent imaging to directly detect RNA molecules in intact tissue sections at single-cell and subcellular resolution.
